The Origin, Changes and Compositive Principles of Baekhaoleejung-tang

Abstract

|
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to understand the origin, the progressive changes and the constructive principles of Packhaoleejung-tang (ÛÜù¼è¡ìµñé÷·)
Methods: Packhaoleejung-tang and other related prescriptions were analyzed in terms of their pathological indications, based on "Donguisusebowon Chobongwon (ÔÔì¢áøá¦ÜÁêª õ®ÜâÏé)", "Donguisusebowon Gabobon (ÔÔì¢áøá¦ÜÁêª Ë£çíÜâ)", "Donguisusebowon Sinchukbon (ÔÔì¢áøá¦ÜÁêª ãôõäÜâ)", "Dongmuyugo (ÔÔÙëë¶ÍÃ)", "Shanghanlun (ß¿ùÎÖå)".
Results and Conclusions : (1) The origin of Packhaoleejung-tang is leejung-tang from "Shanghanlun (ß¿ùÎÖå)". Packhaoleejung-tang inherited some of the principles from "Shanghanlun (ß¿ùÎÖå)" Insamkeiji-tang (2) "Gabobon(Ë£çíÜâ)"¡¯s one prescription Hyangsaleejung-tang emphasizes the effect of lossen up by using Pogostemonis Herb (ΫúÅ),Amomi Fructus(ÞãìÒ). "Gabobon(Ë£çíÜâ)"¡¯s another prescription Packhaoleejungtang emphasizes the effect of warm up stomach by using Cinnamomum cassia Blume (Ìýò«), Allium sativum Linne (Ô¼Ôéߪ), Cynanchum wilfordii(ÛÜù¼âÏè¡). "Sinchukbon(ãôõäÜâ)"¡¯s prescription Packhaobujaleejungtang emphasizes the effect of warm up stomach by using Aconitum carmichaeli(ݾí) (3) The Packhaoleejung-tang is composed of 7 herbs. Atractlodis Rhizoma White(ÛÜõô), Glycyrrhizae Radix(Êöõ®), Paeoniae Radix Alba(ÛÜíËå·) support Soeumin¡¯s spleen root (Þ¡êª), and Zingiberis Rhizoma(Ëë˹),Cinnamomum cassia Blume (Ìýò«, Cynanchum wilfordii(ÛÜù¼âÏè¡) warm up stomach. Citri Pericarpium(òçù«) circulate Qi and encourage the descension of Yin.
